MuVoice’s symposium is an after-school program that equips students to advocate for music education policies at local and national levels. Through dynamic sessions, students develop public speaking skills, persuasive communication, and a deep understanding of policies affecting their musical journey.
Students meet with their classmates twice a week to discuss topics that are important to them, while also gaining insights into creative expression through songwriting, poetry, and composition.
We believe exposure to various mediums of self-expression is vital for a balanced and holistic approach. Here, we practice inclusion and respect for every person’s individual beliefs and cultures, enabling every person to feel empowered in expressing themselves and their views.
